A FIRE/LIFE SAFE COMMUNITY
"Working within the concept of Master Planning, fire and life safety issues were first addressed within a community risk assessment and analysis, which was followed by several major studies, including response analysis, facilities location studies and disaster planning. The end result was a service commitment by the City Council to establish a proactive fire/emergency protection system, with an emphasis on fire prevention and a maximum fire department emergency response capability of four to six minutes within the city."
